Chargers Remain Winless and Stuck in Neutral Against Eagles”

The Bolts looked all week for ways to improve and ideal their offense.

In other words, Philly has performed well versus good teams, with the worst of the first three opponents being the New York Giants.

"It's going to be a hard-fought game", Eagles leading pass rusher Brandon Graham said. Philip Rivers has been the Chargers starter since 2006.

"I expect everybody's attention to be on the Eagles, get ready to play football", Lynn said. Rivers threw a second interception in the first quarter that set the Chiefs up with the ball at the Chargers 34-yard line. Fletcher Cox picked up the fumble and returned it 23-yards for a touchdown, giving the 30-17 score. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is well aware of Bosa and Ingram's ability to get to the passer.

Before last Sunday's game, the players "wanted to do something just to show we were against divisive remarks by anybody and to stand together as one unit", Lynn said.

With turnovers playing such a big role in the Chargers' early-season problems, more quick-hitting passes seem like a good idea and a way to maybe make things better.

Tyrell Williams and Keenan Allen were both able to gain yards after the catch, taking pressure off Rivers to make ridiculously hard throws. Kendricks has been the best defensive player for the Eagles this year, and is a natural-born blitzer. He connected on four field goals all from 40 yards and beyond and sent all seven of his kickoffs into the back of the end zone. He's too much of a competitor not to bounce back from that ugly performance last week, and the Eagles secondary is hanging by a thread after Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard shredded them a week ago.

Although Rivers and coaching staff made a decision to befuddle the Eagles defense by spreading the offense more to Tyrell Williams, Allen, and Dontrelle Inman. No doubt that other Eagles running backs like Corey Clement deserve some credit, but it was Blount who led the Eagles' punishing running game against Los Angeles. Rivers grew frustrated in the second half, slinging his helmet into the bench and shouting at teammates and coaches after a botched play call. After running for 193 yards against the Giants, the rushing attack racked up 214 yards on 42 carries. His 136 yards for the game were the most by an Eagles running back since LeSean McCoy had 154 at Dallas in 2014.

The Eagles look for their third victory in four tries with a road triumph against the winless Los Angeles Chargers, but they know things won't be easy as the Bolts are desperate and know that an 0-4 start would be very tough to overcome. The Chargers refuse to give up and roll over easy, as Rivers dumps off a short pass to Allen for a 50 yard catch and run, as he was forced out near the 10 yard line.

Lynn has spent the bulk of his professional life preparing to be a head coach in the National Football League, and after another loss, Lynn was emotional. Rivers finished 22/38 for 347 yards and two touchdowns.

Philly marched right down the field and scored on an 8-yard touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Alshon Jefferey.

After two close losses to start the season, the Chargers appeared listless in a 24-10 home defeat at the hands of the Chiefs.
