Trump Fans Burn MAGA Hats After President's Dealings With Democrats”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and NY senator Chuck Schumer had dinner with Trump on Wednesday after which they released a joint statement that insinuated that they had reached an amicable decision regarding the issue of DACA.

According to a White House press pool report, Trump also reiterated Thursday that he will continue to insist on border wall funding as part of the discussions. He says he's sympathetic to DACA enrollees, but he also wants to see a border wall. "We are working on a plan for DACA". He added that border security enforcement and interior immigration enforcement are key facets.

"We'll never be for the wall".

"The president has been very frustrated with the way the healthcare bill was done, the Obamacare repeal", Ruddy said, adding that Trump now is "in a bit of a honeymoon with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi".

Schumer and Pelosi having a seat at the president's table may signal Trump's willingness to work with both parties.

"President Trump signaled a full-fledged cave on the issue of giving amnesty to almost 800,000 illegal aliens now protected by an Obama-created executive immigration program", Breitbart writer John Binder wrote.

But now with this issue rightly passed to Congress, we're hopeful actual law can be fairly-crafted.

Pelosi, Schumer and Trump agreed to "work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides", the joint statement read.

"We had a very productive meeting at the White House with the President".

However, Rep. Dave Brat, another member of the House Freedom Caucus, told reporters to "slow down the drama" as he was peppered with questions about a possible deal Thursday morning. "This is something that Congress needs to work on". He wants even stricter law when it comes to immigration.

"The Dream Act is a critical victory; we must win that", she said.

The House's foremost immigration hard-liner, GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa, addressed Trump over Twitter, writing that if the reports were true, "Trump base is blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond fix".

In an institution that is clearly lacking in any wisdom whatsoever, what we need Congress to demonstrate is some wisdom worthy of King Solomon.

"Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent", Trump said in a series of tweets early Thursday.

And soon after, Trump appeared to confirm that approach. "If we don't have the wall we are doing nothing".

Breitbart News, a far-right Internet news site headed by Trump's former White House chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, called the president "Amnesty Don" for his stance to protect the immigrants and said he was engaging in "a full-fledged cave" on the issue.

The next time a guy tries to talk over you, take a cue from Nancy Pelosi.

"We're extremely anxious because we don't know what's going to happen", she said.

Democrats Thursday reiterated their intent to do everything in their power to shut down Trump's campaign promise of building a wall at the Mexican border. DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Democratic and Republican lawmakers have proposed legislation that would grant legal status to DACA recipients.

"It's disheartening, " said Josue Serrano, a Rutgers University student who was born in Mexico and has DACA.

'We're not looking at citizenship.

"We are more than our economic contributions, we are people who have established our lives in the United States, it could no longer be looked as a temporary measure which is what DACA is, " he said.

"We're not looking at citizenship".
