For those of you who missed it the first time around (how?), Force Friday was launched two years ago as a way for Disney to showcase all of their shiny Star Wars merchandise leading up to the release of The Force Awakens. The augmented reality ploy is similar to Pokémon Go, sending fans on a smartphone treasure hunt for characters superimposed in their real-world surroundings. From there, you unlock new AR experiences by searching participating stores for pictures of characters with the "Find the Force" logo, then scan them with the camera on your phone.

Take a look at some of the offerings that will be coming out below. "Explore how to create a Star Wars trailer with authentic footage from the films", the company writes. The 554-piece set includes minifigures of General Hux, the ruthless officer in the First Order (played in "The Last Jedi" by Domhnall Gleeson), Resistance Trooper, First Order Flametrooper and the First Order Crew. They'll run you about $8 each. They'll be $15 each.

The Archivist instructs players in the ways of the Force and the knowledge of the Jedi. Buckle up for the price tag, however, as it'll run you $180.

Disney suggests that Force Friday folks park in the Lime Garage, the northernmost of the two Disney Springs parking facilities. Certain figures and group packages will be available exclusively in certain stories. Toys 'R Us is giving away free Funko POP!

Fans have already gotten a glimpse at Luke Skywalker's post-Jedi adventures in the canon books and comics, such as Marvel's Shattered Empire.

The hugely popular Funko line wouldn't miss out on The Last Jedi.

Sphero has released a short video showing off their current BB-8 device, along with the brand new R2-D2 unit.
