Jab Harry Met Sejal Movie Review Rating Story Public Talk Audience Responseā€

People are praising Imtiaz Ali's direction and the acting of the star cast. Yes, he is too well dressed all the time for a tour guide, but he is in Europe, and not a desi travel agent and with those looks, that's a forgivable offence. You can thank Imtiaz Ali's insight into human characters as he perfectly injects small nuances of behavioural traits.

Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Harry Met Seejal is a good movie to watch but a little dragging.

There is much joshing around by both of them to establish how different they are, and yes, we get the point. Harry is temperamental and "cheap", having slept with lots of lady clients and was once nearly fired because of his promiscuity. She is supposed to be a goody Gujarati, a diamond merchant's daughter who Harry has to escort all through the re-tour- albeit, against his will and better judgment. KU Mohanan does magic with every frame, as he captures Europe to perfection and adds the smallest and the most attractive detailing to Sejal and Harry's own moments. What's disappointing though is that what she seems to seek is acknowledgement, not of her beauty or brains (sister-type) but her sexiness (one night stand material). However the movie gets boring at times, for the viewers who are looking for progress in terms of the story.

There's even a Punjabi wedding thrown in, tons of songs and cutesy moments between the two. Sejal compels Harry to take to all the places she and her family visited across Europe in the hopes of finding the ring.

Wishing for the success of the film, filmmaker Karan Johar said, ' It's the week of Harry and Sejal! But the frenzy of the public knew no bounds as Shah Rukh sang the popular Bhojpuri song "Jab lagawela tu lipistik" with renowned Bhojpuri star, Manoj Tiwari. As the ring is of extreme importance on an emotional scale, Sejal decides to stay back till she is able to find it and forcefully takes Harry along with her in the hunt. Together, they could have created magic.

Though first half boasts of a fun vibe attached to the narration, however, since the film does not have a well-defined plot, it is hard to relate to the otherwise fascinating characters. But he is let down by a script that meanders and never really finds its way out of the woods. However, she does cover it up with comic timing and that oh-so-cute-smile.
