Savannah, Ga. (WJCL)- The day will start out dry with mild temperatures. With better rain chances, we are going to dial back the heat some, and we should see lower 90s Saturday and Sunday.

Expect strong to severe storms both days this weekend.

Models indicate that scattered showers and storms are still likely on Saturday. Tuesday looks to be the coolest day with a high of 83°. Afternoon heat index values will reach 105 to 110. Heat indices will be 100-105°, especially Saturday.
