Spider-Man PS4 Gameplay Trailer from Sony's E3 Presentation”

We first caught a trailer for Spider-Man in the Sony E3 press conference past year. All the while Spidey quips in his adorably obnoxious way. It's been more than a decade since the web slinger has had major success on consoles, so Sony hopes to change this demographic with their new game. Spider-Man heads into the open world of NY after a brief chat with Kingpin, and soon finds himself battling a super-powered bad dude in another building.

Sony kicked off their E3 2017 with a huge raft of new game announcements and trailers at a packed PlayStation Briefing.

Like numerous games shown off at Sony's press conference, players can expect to get their hands on Insomniac's Spider-Man sometime in 2018.

"It took Sony 188 days to go from an install base of 50m to 60m". The game is set in an open-world New York City, similar to past Spider-Man games like the adaptation of 2004's Spider-Man 2. Numerous action sequences were scripted events, but the gameplay itself looked smooth and precise. While the usual web swinging is present there also seems to be some stealth elements as well kinetic fight sequences and even a few quick time events.
